Well the title says it all. About 3 weeks ago I had this problem with my 20 inch Saturn build It would not chamber the first round out of the mag feeding from the right and every round on the right after. First thought its those damn metal mags(prefer magpuls for the 223/308)tried bending feed lips still would not chamber. So posted on the forum about the problem but still no answer then a few days later somebody else was getting the same problem as I with the same combo as me. The advice from everybody was that the ejector was to long and needed to be shortened, So today I took the bolt apart and shortened the ejector so that it was just short of the end of the bolt. Well eureka it worked flawlessly so thank you to all on the forum for your advice and what a pleasure to be a member of a Forum with a positive attitude unlike some others with their armchair commandos sprouting the gospel according to them. So once again thank you for the positive attitude and help from the membership.
