You can do it for less, but a match rifle sight can be used on multiple rifles and moved with no loss of zero, I use my set this way so went first class.

Starting at the rear of the rifle you need a base, rear sight, rear iris, and an anti-glare tube. Then at the muzzle end you need an extension tube and index ring, the front sight, front aperture, lens, and sun shade, then along the barrel you need a mirage band. This is for 300 and 600 yard prone stages, then for the 200 yard offhand and sitting rapid, I switch to a shorter tube and smaller sight to keep the wind from blowing the front of the rifle as much.

But the results are very good, here is a pic of two five shot groups using my Tubb 2K in 6.5 Creedmoore, 123 A-Max, and 39 grains of Varget. These were shot at 100 yards from sand bags, back to back, one with a 36X Leupold bench rest scope and one with the 30mm Right Sight.
