The thing I find important is that there doesn't need to be a viable plan to dis-arm Americans in one swoop, just like it has taken 150 years of incrementalism to impose the series of violations to the 2A, starting with the various State laws barring freed slaves from owning firearms, to the 1934 NFA, then the 1968 GCA, 1968, and 1994 AWB. Marxists and Power-mongers like FDR, Johnson, and Clinton have done just fine with incrementalism.

One factor that does have the power to disarm most of the people is food shortages. Even though the US is the largest food exporter, we import even more food from abroad. We are also in an era where food production is transitioning to more and more of a globally-controlled commodity outside the influence of national governments. Since China has purchased well over 26.1% of US debt, which was the figure in 2011. One of the main stories not being investigated by the Apparatchik Pres right now is how China is demanding-and receiving collateral for that debt in real assets, like National Forests, farmland, mines, interest in oil refineries, railroads, and the NAFTA superhighway.

In an engineered foot shortage scenario, where our locally-produced chow is being shipped out under our noses, with our own store shelves empty, I can see millions begging to get in line to turn in their firearms in exchange for food. The police and National Guard would merely be herding and running crowd control at that point.
Since China bought the White House, starting in as early as 1992, with John Juang (the senior manager of all of China's foreign intel services front businesses), and the transfer of US technology to China under Clinton's most favored nation status, the groundwork was laid for them to dominate much of our foreign policy.
Comrade Hussein is their crown jewel in foreign policy accomplishment, especially when you look at the victory tour he took in Southeast Asia post election, letting China's Southern neighbors know that their goose is cooked.
