How about one of you guys telling us how three Stryker Brigades, one Special Forces Group, and one Ranger Battalion can get to and control Utah, California, all of Washington, Idaho, Nevada, and most of Colorado? Come on guys -- someone tell me.

There is an assumption, not only from the leftwing but from libertarians, that those in the military are blind, dumb robots. Frankly, the average soldier or Marine may be disciplined. But they are still very independent. Plus it has been hammered into us that we are not to follow unlawful orders.

And a military of 2 million, plus 1 million reservists (to include Guard), is not even enough to control the American people. It would take a force of over 5 million. And most in uniform are technicans (logistics or admin), not hardcore combat arms or military police. I rather doubt that clerk-typists, mechanics and supply techs present a threat to our freedom.
