LRRPF52 - I am divorced, but my 7th grade son was down this weekend from Springfield, IL. He had a constitution poster project to do and I had to help him with. I was appalled at the Glencoe McGraw Hill "Living constitution" workbook he had. The description of the 2nd ammendment was pure propaganda. Basically it said, "... some people think the right to keep and bear arms means that firearms shouldnt be regulated, however the courts have consistently argued that they can. Also the state and federal govt can decide who can be licensed to own a firearm." .....Now since when do you have to have a license to own a firearm, as my son's assignment claims? I own several firearms and i don't have a license! This is lies and propaganda to make it sound like firearms ownership is a privalege not a right! I was disgusted!
