You are going in a good direction!
One of my long standing practices is to go to both sides of where intuition suggest the sweet spot might be. We all agree that 6.5mm is pretty good, and we know that 5.56 is too small.
What would 6mm and .25 caliber bullets for that same BC look like?
PS. There are many who reject the 6mm as being too small and a similar number rejecting the "quarter bore" as not having the right kinds of bullets, but let's see how the numbers play out. It could prove interesting...
