I wrote my FL Senator a month back explaining how my familie's AR-15 is a fun .22 for the daughter, then a home defense .223, and then a hunting 6.5 Grendel; which can all be done with a single rifle (lower). It's like a Tinker Toy set that allows you the ability for multiple purposes, without having to purchase three complete rifles. His response was, "I'm [Senator Bill Nelson] a hunter and an AK-47 is not a hunting rifle; and I fully support the AWB."

It's too bad he's too narrow to actually answer my question and see the value of an AR platform for the sportman's in America.
