I heard on the news that the police that are on his "hit list" are being guarded and have their "own guns at the ready in their homes".
When I had an incident a few years back (guy on drugs crawling in through my kitchen window). The only thing that made him stop is when I dropped the bolt on my Benelli. It took the cops over 30 minutes to get there at around 9:30 am (mid morning) (I live near a major city about 4 minutes from the sheriff's department) and when then finally did come there were 10 cars. I find it really hard to believe that all 10 cars arrived at the same time. They probably did not want to be the only cop there when guns were involved. I was able to hold the guy until they came and arrested him but if I did not have a gun at the ready who knows what would have happened. It is a good thing that the SOB did not try that a few hours earlier when it was dark or the moment he cleared the kitchen sink I would have given him a lobotomy with #4 lead shot.
