Glad that you notice their claimed versus actual loyalties. While much of your analysis is inarguable, LRRPF52, this jingoism is quite arguable, especially among those who believe that there are objective standards of right and wrong. Freedom for whom? Looting banksters? Yep. Genocidal Zionists? Yep. For the rest of us, the noose is tightening. Everyone here knows the litany of ever more pervasive and egregious abuses. I mean, really, we have "exported" so much "democracy" that we have little meaningful freedom or even privacy at home.
Any meaningful discussion of problems and solutions necessarily involves one's worldview. For many of us, our worldview is religious, hence verboten here. Because of that, any discussion here can only lament symptoms and nibble around the edges of the problem.
