I would consider Whelenon's advice unless your Sako action is designed for the .223 cartridge length.

I know that my circa 1965 Browning .222 Rem Mag is way too short for the .260 since it is barely long enough for the .222 Mag!

In any event, a Grendel Bolt gun will be a lot of fun!
