Why have we not seen the evidence?

I think the reason most people on this forum are trying to get to the truth of what happened in Connecticut and truth of firearms is to have knowledge to explain to the uninformed voters the complete lies and propaganda being spewed 24- 7 by the news media and government entities. I have seen the hatred for the 2nd amendment by people who believe the lies told to them by our opposition. Propaganda aka lying is a powerful tool to direct people who are informationaly challenged to a position they normally would not go if they were presented with the truth. I have a family who moved near me from France that I had befriended who were completely terrified of firearms. After a little time spent with them their attitudes did a 180 and the mother even competes in practical shooting with my wife. They said TV and the information they were fed in their former country had conditioned them with fear of all firearms. Now they are strong supporters of the second amendment and are now taking everything told to them by outside sources with a big grain of salt. This is why searching for the truth in any subject is a good thing and opposition to ones thinking can force a person to explore other peoples points of views for a clearer view. I agree it does not matter what weapon was used in a crime especially to the informed members of this forum. To a non firearm owner with the wrong knowledge it can mean everything. The more proven information we can field to uninformed people and the opposition the better.
