There are a few GO's who are both politician and what I would call a "warrior". Gen Patton was a warrior. Gen Schwarzkopf was a warrior. Colin Powell was not. (yeah sure, some of them are decorated in combat, but that doesn't make them a "warrior" in my book).
My guess is that McChrystal will eventually enter the public political arena...as a democrat! Just a hunch.
Im not ex-military as im sure youve figured out by now but i'm a big supporter of our men @ women in the Armed Services. I can tell i wouldve been in the trenches with yall because i could not have put up with some of the political shit being reigned upon our military. The Politicians constantly threaten not to pay for you guys as you lay in some tent in the desert hoping some hadji doesnt come in your tent strapped with explosives.
Im so pissed off at Colin Powell and McChrystal. What a bunch of panzie asses! Its alot to ask but people like yourself and my fellow forum members are going to be asked once again to step up for your Country and lead us in the right direction.
It might be A political position or it might be as warriors. This time i will be in the trenches with you.
