I'll bite. He is correct but wrong. The Second Amendment grants nothing. Read it. The right to bear arms is an INALIENABLE right. INALIENABLE rights come from our Creator. The State can NOT take them from us. There is plenty of research to back this up. Civil Rights are granted by the State. What the State grants, the State can take away. Amerikans have been spoon fed oodles of propaganda over the years. It starts with the public fool system.

The 2A PROTECTS our rights to own and bear arms. So we DO have a right to possess arms...the 2A was originally written to protect that right from infringement by the federal government. Ironically, the Civil War and resulting 14A made the 2A apply to the States as well.
