I'm saying that there is much to do about nothing, it is cosmetic, a lot of the competitors I shoot with use the M16 carrier, because it weighs more, but they work the same as a stock Rock River Arms AR 15 bolt carrier. Even with the Tubb weight and using the tungsten carbide center insert, I get the same accuracy, reliability, and case life I get with the stock AR 15 bolt carrier. The nickel plated versions are a little easier to clean, but in the end you have to clean them just as often or you'l get stoppages. I am building a 6mm Hagar NRA match rifle as we speak and it is using a RRA standard carrier modified with a bolt operating handle. If I thought there was any advantage to a more costly carrier, I would be using it instead, this is a no expense spared build, I have over $1,600 dollars invested in the metallic sights alone.
