Not a good idea folks, this will give the media the ability to be truthful for once, and claim that our professed membership numbers are fraudulant... which they shall indeed be.

Are you saying that its fraud to convince our friends to join? If so then I say you are wrong. If we get our friends to sign up, and they do, then they are legitimate members. Many gun owners don't know the real benefits to joining, many are simply too lazy but believe in gun rights, many just need a simple nudge. They are legitimate new members.
