I personally was in Philly/ nj/ny for hurricane sandy, in 31 days of driving all over indie not see one box of ammo, let alone a gun. Working with folks from Texas and discussing th gun control up there made me nervous, this was before the school shooting. It's crazy how people for about what the constitution says and that they would allow this to happen, then again the majority up there are who put our president in office twice. It starts to make sense, they are also heavily unionized. Whole I agree unions had their place, their time has come and gone. Just like the auto unions that led to bailouts they are driving costs up and sending jobs out of the country, further weakening the economy. A standard water heater In the south can be installed for around $500 up there it is $1500. Not so different was the housing market crash in 2008, however if we gun toting Americans survive this wave with out any serious legation passed we should feel lucky and pounce once things quiet down. This may take months or years, but the gun industry is reaping the benefits now which may lead to some rapid advancements and a swing of the supply vs demand chain in our favor. I guess time will only tell.
