If asked why do you need a weapon of war ask them which weapon of war should we have? Every weapon or firearm used was a weapon of war at one time. The bolt action, revolver, lever action ,rifled barrels, percussion caps, single shot etc. Then ask the anti-gunner which antiquated firearm would make them feel comfortable civilians owning. How old would the civilian firearm have to be to be legitimate. After this type of stupid quizzing explain the second amendment and the division of power. Like I said before we have the argument and don't forget to mention the 56 million people exterminated in the last century by their governments after they were disarmed. It is the same old story as LRRPF52 said, it is about people control and power, nothing else.
