Ordinary Handguns used in Conn School Shooting ~ why the focus on a RIFLE ban?

That report aired on 15 December. I saw a live update where the coroner stated all murders were accomplished with multiple rifle shots; and the only gunshot death was the self-inflicted shot.

I had seen one report were the shootings were made with a Sig Sauer rifle...initially reported as a handgun. Additionally, that report also said the Bushmaster was left in the car.

We haven't heard much on the facts of the crime scene since the immediate reporting (most of which was inaccurate).

It will be interesting to actually have all the FACTS at hand, and see how it plays to the gun control debate...
