For the current Military guys or gals, will the Govt send troops to round up our guns

While the intent of that portion of the law MIGHT be an army of doctors and nurses to assist in times of emergency, there is nothing in that law that limits the power of said army. There is nothing in the law that prevents the arming of said army.

Honestly I didn't think much of this issue until I read that section of the law today. The potential for an administration to manipulate that law scares me.

Most Americans will stand up and say a domestic security force under control of the president will never happen. While I'm not a lawyer I do believe that law opens the door for said force to be established.

‘‘(2) REQUIREMENT.—All commissioned officers shall be citizens of the United States and shall be appointed without regard
to the civil-service laws and compensated without regard to the Classification Act of 1923, as amended."

The fact that said force may not be required to swear an oath to the Constitution of the United States of America makes this exponentially worse.
