I just saw a piece on the news where they interviewed a CCW-holder who was at the mall in Oregon, and had his front sight indexed on the wanker's head as the wanker was clearing a malfunction, manipulating the charge handle. There were people in the background, and he chose not to take the shot because he was concerned about collateral deaths/injuries from his Glock....
However, the wanker saw this CCW-carrier, and turned the gun on himself at that moment, ending the killing spree. It appears that the presence of the CCW-carrier motivated the wanker to end his own life, rather than be apprehended or shot by someone else. This could have been a lot worse folks, as we have unfortunately seen this week. This story seems to have been buried until I saw it tonight.
