My First Grendel, barrel recommendations in 18-20" please.

Hornady factory Grendel ammo works fine in my current LBC chamber, and in previous LBC chambers that I have owned / built.

If the rounds won't chamber, it's probably a bolt headspace issue. I think LBC is supposed to use the Grendel-type bolts with an additional 0.011" of recess. A "standard" bolt without the extra recess might prevent the bolt from fully closing. I think BHW has done LBC chambers both ways (Type 1 and Type 2 bolts), and mis-mathcing the bolts could cause excessive or inadequate headspace.

Then why does reloading, resizing, with the LBC dies solve the chambering problem if I have a bolt issue? I have the correct bolt that was fitted with my barrel when I bought it..............Its the difference in the throat not the bolt......
