Dave gave me the background on the AA vs LB story, he said that the only chamber difference was the throat. LBC straight, Grendel is tapered. He said that Ruger had decided on the LBC because it showed more accuracy, no bullet weights were discussed. It will take me months to finish this project as the $ come slow. When I do, I will try different bullet weights and report back hereon what I find. I don't need a "rail system" really as I have no intention of mounting anything other than a sling stud and bipod on it, free float is a must. I need some input on what length, LP GB and a forearm that will cover it? This rifle will wear a scope only, although it wouldn't hurt to build for BU irons.
