fanofflyn I am having similar problems. Did this work for you, shorting the extractor, I hope so. I have a 20" Satern fluted barrel and bolt bought from midway. My bolt came without the extractor,spring and pin. I installed one from an extra 223 bolt. I tried it and same problem. I worked on it tonight. I have three grendels. I tried the BCG from one on the satern set up without a round it works great tried with round no lower just the BCG and the upper hand loaded a round slid the BCG in and push it in by hand would not chamber. tried this BCG on my AA set up and worked great. Tried a brand new unloaded hornady brass without bullet it would not chamber I tried this thinking the bullet was hitting the lands. What I found was even worse I push a little harder by hand and it slid in the bolt hooked up with the shell and extracted great. When I inspected the neck what I saw made my heart sink. Rifleing a good quarter inch onto the neck. I will post pictures ASAP. I hope you just need to hone a little If not check your chamber. I will be in touch with Satern I am sure it will be no problem to fix. Just a little time.
