The name is kind of a play on the reality of the area we shoot in. We are just a few miles from Seminole Texas & the wind blows a big part of the time. We were very fortunate both weekends during the match with almost no wind(for west texas) so we may have to rename the match. hahaha. An example of the wind was during one of our precision rifle matches we had winds of 35-40mph. Over 30 shooters showed up that day in spite of the weather.
We had one guy going around taking some pics, I hope he will send them to me. It was unfortunate to not get anything better but all the r.o.s & shooters had their hands full just working their way through the course. If he sends them to me & I can figure out how, I'll post some here. If we do it again next year, I'll attempt to do a better job of getting "evidence" of the match. :-)
