With an 18" barrel, mid-length gas system, or 16" carbine-length gas system, AR15 carrier, and lightweight buffer, you will have a very fast cyclic rate because of several reasons:
1) Increased dwell time of the 18" MLGS or 16" CLGS (I can't tell which one you have.)
2) Reduced weight & resistance of the shaved AR15 carrier
3) Reduced weight and resistance of the carbine buffer, if it's a 2.9 oz. common one
Add 120gr or 123gr ammo, and you have a recipe for fast cycling, feeding problems, too much gas with too little mass to resist it.
I would get an M16 carrier, an H3 buffer, and see what happens. If that doesn't help, move on to an adjustable gas block to tame that gas down.
