Grendel at extended ranges?

500m (550 yards) on steel silhouettes has been the longest so far. Accuracy is not a problem, but the Grendel fails to have enough kinetic energy to knock over the heavy steel ram silhouettes at that range. You see the impact, you hear the "ping", but the target stay up about 60% of the time. This was with factory Hornady 123 AMAX rounds.

I had the same with 123 A-Max. I tried the Wolf 120 MPT it did a better on the steel, but was not as accurate as the Hornady. I going to load Hornady's 129 Interlock and the 129 SST bullets this winter and try them on steel.
