Ok well I'd like to stay around the $2500 range or less, if possible, before optics and all the other goods. I would like to use the Mega Maten matched receivers but I just can't seem to find anyone that can keep them in stock. I was also looking at the mid length quad mono upper/lower combo, but how much does it weigh? From what I've seen it looks pretty bulky? I haven't gotten to put my hands on one yet so I have no idea. It says on Mega's website that their matched receivers are compatible with Samson forearms, if so I'd like to use Rainier's version of the Samson Evo, is that doable or is the forearm a 308 specific part? I was thinkin of just going with the Rainier Arms Ultra match 16" barrel. Now where I'm getting really confused is on the receiver ext. tube/buffer tube. Are they compatible from the AR15 or is that a specific to the 308? I wanted to run a UBR stock.
