Which chamber for a custom bolt gun?

Why a would you put heavy barrel on a Grendel Bolt rifle unless your going to shoot Bench Rest with it? As I see it a Micro actioned Grendel bolt action is good for two things, a light recoiling BR rifle and light weight with light recoil mountain rifle or still hunting rifle. So, why would you want a heavy barreled set-up for hunting? IMHO the Grendel in any platform is a fine Deer and Zombie killing weapon, however, although it can be used on varmits there are better and much cheaper options so why bother trying to make one with a heavy barrel? A good .243 or 25-06 will work better at distance on vermin. The Grendel shines at range with 120-130gr bullets, why try to make it into something it was not designed to be and loose the BC advantage of the .264 bullet by shortening it down to 100gr or less. Don't get me wrong, if I ever get a scope on mine I will bust a few ground hogs with it. However I can't see building a heavy barreled Grendel bolt action for any other reason other then the one you stated, because you don't want to reload for another cartridge. Each to his own, I hope she shoots one hole groups.
