I have shot my 20" Grendel to 1000 yards a number of times.
Actually utilized it for one of the Snipers Hide Cup matches down at Rifles Only in Texas a couple of years ago.
The guy laying next to me was using a 308 bolt rifle and I really felt bad about kicking brass his direction but the Grendel did just as good as the 308.
I put in a 15 mph correction as I thought the breeze was a bit over 20 mph but not at a full value.
First shot missed the Larue plate to the right a bit less than half a mil so I held left 1/2 mil and sent three rounds for hits.
The fifth round missed just a hair left because I should have increased my hold-off as the breeze was increasing.
Personally, I consider both the Grendel and a 308 to be 800 yard rounds. People utilize both past 800 but my personal confidence level is much higher if I am at 800 or colser.
