Grendel from an AK magazine?

Rock River is making the LAR 47 - an AR type lower that uses AK magazines.

I wondering if the grendel will feed from an AK magazine.:confused: If it would, matching the LAR 47 lower to a Grendel upper may solve magazine issues. Both availability and cost.

Has any one tried a Grendel in an AK platform?
