There definitely is some margin in the complete BCM uppers, but their parts are priced about the same as everyone else. I forgot to mention Palmetto State Armory.
BCM has an 11.5" lightweight barrel right now, which is what I would use, but it is stripped, without the FSB attached.
I think I could build a quality upper with Milspec barrel, MPI bolt, M16 carrier, BCM Gunfighter Charge Handle, and even a KAC RAS complete for less than $799 easy. More like $650. I Cerakote all my uppers and lowers-all the parts that are exposed.
