The Grendel seems to work great!
The 120gr FMJ factory Hornady load had rounds touching at 100yds which surprised me.
Dad got his Xero C1 chronograph today and it showed an average of 2300fps for that load in the 12 barrel which is pretty respectable I think.
I wound up using a Sprinco Blue (Extra Power) recoil spring and H2 buffer. Ill probably try an H3 next time but I need to see how zippy my reloads are as to whether thatll be too heavy.
