Brownells has got 6.5 Grendel firing pins in stock and I suspect these are the shorter length to accommodate the 2.800 length 6.5/ Grendel bolt. There was a question as to this firing pin link but I think the length was misprinted. I think the length should be 3.268 and not 3.368 as printed. If 3.268 is correct then that is what is needed with a 2.800 length bolt.
I contacted Brownells Technical staff after it was discovered Brownells was selling 2.800 length bolts and explained the potential for pierced primers. Brownells Tech stated he was not aware of this issue. Later Brownells listed a shorter firing pin for sale.
