The Feinsteins, Pelosis, and Newsoms are perfect examples of graft and corruption that is the fabric of CA government, just like New York, Maryland, Illinois, Nevada, and other Mafia strongholds where their attorneys inherited the empires the gangsters initially built. You still see the family connections in-place though.
In Las Vegas, Mayor Goodman played himself in Casino. His wife is now the Mayor, since they have term limits. Easy way to work around term limits for organized criminals is just hand the reigns over to family.
