Arks video looks about like what I see at night. I just got a stronger illuminator, and that seems to give me more useful distance. The Wraith mini works pretty good, and Im happy with it. Pretty soon Im going out to that same elevated blind and shoot every raccoon I can see. Dang coons. The Wraith works fine on raccoons too.
Bottom line is that when you mount the Wraith, you need to actually read the directions. Then you need to point and adjust the illuminator that comes with the Mini. Adjust the focus of the illuminator and decide what intensity you need. I wasnt doing too well with that till a fellow on another forum splained to me what to do. And it worked. I like that I can use it daytime and dark.
But someday I may have to go to thermal, but the daylight and dark ones are soooo expensive.
