Android Labradar App Update

Thanks. At first, I was using a dedicated cheap Kindle Fire with the Android App forced on it. It works, but has the wretched Blue Tooth connectivity programming, so loses connection all the time. The updated App from last year or so is much butter, but crashes and won't launch on the Kindle FIre OS. Curious if anyone has tried this brand new version yet on such?
