I wanted night vision, but didnt want to spend the kind of money thermal costs. I finally decided to try the Sightmark Wraith Mini 4-16. It works very well inside 200 yards, and might range further if I had a more potent IR light. I might be able to go as far as 300 with my IR light. I think I paid around $800 for the scope and almost that for the IR monocular. And, its good daylight and dark. For what I need, it is adequate. Mostly I hunt hogs from about 150 yards, which is the distance to a feeder, and it works just fine for that.
