I would take my 129gr accubond loads without thinking about it, if not that pull out the 125gr partitions and work up a load for it. I have no real doubt about either. If I lived where the elk did and had a long season I would elk hunt with the Grendel without hesitation. The elk hunts I have done though were for 6 days out of state and carried a bigger gun just to tip the odds a bit more. Really glad I had the 300 Wby on one hunt, successful Texas Heart shot on my largest elk with it.
