thinking bad thoughts... need help

I guess I am not sure what the fuss is about. Yeah, I like light, handy rifles in a lot of use cases.

I took and 11 pound, 22" Grendel to Thunder Ranch a couple of years ago for their Scoped AR course. The rifle was a total joy, prone, from 100 to 700 yards. It just knocked 'em down. But after a 10-minute drill of positional and off-hand shooting, I was ready for a shorter, lighter rifle. Removing the 1-pound Harris bipod off before starting would have been smart.
