Went out shooting today with a buddy who brought a new AR10 he just bought... We were setting up and I asked him where it was b/c I saw an AR15 on his tailgate. As luck would have it he just bought the 16" sfar! ha...
I'll be damned if that thing didn't feel and look like a standard ar15. Even the outside of the mag well area didn't seem any different. The only visible difference is the barrel, and then two holes drilled in the upper where the bolt head locks into the barrel extension. Shame on me for not taking pictures
Anyway... Even with that big muzzle break, shooting 150gr really did thump the shoulder more than my grendel.
It didn't hiccup once and it went through 60 rounds without issue. Accuracy was nothing to write home about, about 1.5moa with Federal Powershok and Norma Whitetail 308.
The grendel though is definitely going to stick around, just too shoft shooting and more enjoyable than the 308 for sure.
