I'm interested to know also... though when the erector went out the only reason they listed was "internal damaged part"

I'm really leaning towards the nx8. I can't afford the 3k actar, but the nx8 8-32x56 is right in that goldilocks zone of features, glass, and price. Still doing my research and will visit a few stores to try some hands on before deciding then buying at best price I can find.

Also... from my point of view, though I can work with 1 scope out of the 2, a target closer than 100 yards in shouldn't be over 100 parallax marking on either scope... so they are both not in spec.
