If you see AA2520 data, then it’s fairly safe to say that CFE-223 will work as well, but the charge weights will be higher for CFE-223 to generate the same pressures.

I’ve loaded up to 32.5gr of CFE-223 under the 100gr TTSX.

From a 17.6” Lilja barrel in the AR-15, I got:

I stopped after seeing the velocity drop like that. I never resisted that combo, but CFE-223 is very forgiving in 6.5 Grendel, even under a copper solid.

I also loaded it up under custom-cut 94gr GMXs with 33.9gr with 1x Hornady brass:

A-2460 is a great powder for 100gr cup and core, but I would cautiously approach the Western Powder max load for it under the 100gr TTSX. The Barnes max load with it is much higher than Western Powders, and Western provided pressure data along with it that was over 51,000psi. Barnes data was 1.5gr higher than that, so I’m not sure what pressure test breech they were using or how they came up with that other than a combo of lot variations and different brass. Hornady and Lapua brass have very similar case capacities though.
