I have used corn cob media ever since I started reloading except for once - when I accidentally grabbed a big plastic bucket of walnut media instead. What a dusty mess! Corn cob does create some dust, but nearly as much as walnut. I also found that although walnut polishes better, corn cob cleans better.

Also, ditch the brand name media and buy the big blue bucket of Berry's next time you find yourself near the Prescott Sportsman's Warehouse. I think it was $30 for 20 lbs last time I bought some.
