Not sure if Klem mentioned this, but one more thing will also cause some poi shift (altho not 2"), the barrel is mounted to the action as a cantilever beam, secured at one point and free on the other, therefore there is some minute amount of droop due to gravity acting on the steel-barrel-beam's mass. Adding a suppressor to the free end causes more mass at that tip and thus more of that droop, however minute. But in 100 yd distances let alone farther ones, every 0.0005 means some shift. A relatively stiff barrel might minimize or have less droop but it won't be zero; and the added suppressor will not cause a zero addition - there will be a change in poi induced. This is physics.
