Well, too be fair, the OP didnt asked for any advice on what to use or what is more cost effective! He just asked if anyone had any first hand experience with the Area 419 set! I get were all in different phases of life, with varying amounts of financial security but, as a 63 year old retiree, on the way out 
, its not always about getting by with the cheapest crap available! Theres also some value, at least for me, in using quality tools! $100 seems like a ridiculously little amount for the quality of components and machining that went into producing that funnel set, and all in the USA! IMO, YMMV!
