I see what Jon meant, I forgot the Razor had a 35mm tube and was FFP. although the Viper is 6-24 FFP it is still only 30mm tube which will limit him in vertical travel a bit more.
With 40-60 MOA base it may not be a bad choice but yeah that Razor looks pretty damned good,that company is really getting a good reputation for quality regardless of the lower cost.
I also mentioned in my conversation with him in PM the S&B scope, you really can't go wrong.
The guy I know who shoots .338 Lapua the most usually stays under 1800, of course he is capable of more but that is his preference. (smaller targets I suppose?)
I will say that I am slightly jealous, I really want a .338 Lapua but it will have to wait and I would have to drive pretty far in order to use it at extended ranges.
The AI that Karen and Marty have is really nice, I have seen some others that are really nice as well, one guy is really happy with his Sig Blaser, I was always a fan of the EDM rifles.
