Welcome to the forum Scott! There isn’t a lot of velocity difference between an 18” and 20” 6.5 Grendel. I think the 18” hits the sweet spot for versatility if your only going to have one 6.5 Grendel. I reload and hanging out here I’ve aquired several 6.5 Grendel AR-15’s plus a Cz 527 bolt action. The velocities were obtained by using a Magnettospeed chronograph a few years ago but the general velocity trends still hold true today.
