Well I've been a long time devotee of 5.56 is fine enough, and it is good! But recently some line of logic hit me. If I want a nice long rifle for hunting maybe I should get something a little bit more powerful for hunting, the 6.5 grendel seemed to be the right balance of performance, weight, and cost! So now I'm all in with 6.5 gren. 
right now I'm trying to decide if I should build the upper (it would be my first time build) or if I should just buy an upper. I hear the larue get mentioned a lot but I haven't really seen any in depth reviews on it and I'm a little sketched out by the 1/7 twist rate (I plan on using 123-129gr rounds)
