Fresh rooting on the neighboring property two nights in a row. So, I went there last night, and they were there again. There was two or three medium sized, and five or six piglets. New growth mesquite made it hard to tell exactly how many in all. I picked the largest one that appeared to be a sow, (turned out it was a she). She was quartering away, right side toward me. Aimed at right shoulder, shot, and she went down. After a few seconds she started kicking. When she kept on, I gave her what Brian calls a "quality assurance" shot. Hard to find the entrance wounds, but one of the rounds exited between the eyes and made a huge exit (1 1/2"), and made a mess.
123 SST at about 90 yds, last chrono was 2480.
