One divided by twenty-four (1/24) is .042. Correct me if my math is wrong, but with 5/8-24 threads one complete 360° rotation should result in linear movement of .042? Thus, at a very worst-case scenario, one needs a shim set with a total thickness of .042 (in practice, probably no more than 180° rotation, .021 linear travel, would be needed). Right? Or am I missing something?
